Get To Know Dr. Hannah
Dr. Hannah earned her bachelor of science in biology, and her doctor of dental science (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific in California. Upon graduating, she served in the communities of Roswell, NM and Merced, CA.
Dr. Hannah has made Bakersfield her home because of the warm embrace she has experienced here. Her mission is to improve the smiles of her patients and to give them the tools to maintain good oral health. She believes in treating each patient like family.
Staying updated and informed is important to Dr. Hannah. She is part of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Kern County Dental Association. She frequently attends continuing education courses such as dental implant placement, and OSHA infection control to ensure that she is providing the best service to her community.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and playing board games.

When you first walk through our doors, you can expect to be greeted by our office staff with warmth and kindness. You’ll be invited to check in for your appointment and fill out your new patient forms.
Once our hygienist is ready for you, we’ll take you back to the operatory, where you’ll receive a thorough cleaning and exam to make sure your smile is in good shape.
After your cleaning, Dr. Hannah will discuss the results of your exam with you. If everything looks good, you’ll be able to schedule your next visit and be on your way. If anything needs special attention, Dr. Hannah and her team will explain the results and the recommended treatments, and you’ll be given time to ask any clarifying questions you might have.

Dr. Hannah Tsai, the new face behind Sunny Dental, took the reins from Dr. Bruce Massee in 2022. Dr. Tsai is committed to upholding the legacy of exceptional care and familial warmth that has defined this practice for generations.
